High School Division

The High School Division is our most competitive level where girls have an opportunity to refine the skills they have developed over the previous years of play. It is recommended that a player have been involved in organized softball for several years prior to entering this division.  Players must be proficient at catching hard hit and thrown balls, hitting fast pitching, and sliding into base. If a player is unable to demonstrate proficiency at these skills she may be excluded from participating in the High School division due to concern for her safety.

Eligible players are either entering or currently enrolled in High School. Girls age 14 who are entering High School must play in the Senior Division, but may also elect to play on the High School team. The team is typically organized and begins practices in May and plays games June through August in a High School league. Girls may play a variety of positions during the season, however, position specialization is emphasized. Games are 7-innings. Scores and standings are kept. The season concludes with a double-elimination tournament.

The High School Team may also play in a "Fall Ball" league in September and October.
